Trauma transformed into healing

From a young age, I have been captivated by the complexities of human behavior, the mysterious workings of the brain and the stories people share about their lives.

As a survivor of complex and intergenerational trauma, with a nerdy obsession for neuroscience, I have developed an extensive understanding of emotional pain, complex relationships, dysfunctional family patterns, and the impacts of nervous system dysregulation.

Motivated by a series of significant changes in my own life, I embarked into the unknown, seeking mental and physical well-being, with plenty of ups and downs along the way. It was through this transformative process that I discovered my true calling as a therapist, compelled by a profound desire to provide compassionate and meaningful support to others. I sincerely believe that we all have the inherent capacity for self-acceptance, healing, and positive transformation and am dedicated to empowering others on their unique journeys of growth and change.

My approach and expertise

I employ an integrative, person-centered approach, grounded in trauma-informed care, that utilizes evidence-based treatment options which are specifically tailored to meet your unique needs and goals. Drawing upon my experience and expertise, I work with clients in a diverse range of areas, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, parenting challenges, bipolar, disordered eating, life transitions, grief, narcissistic abuse, complex trauma and PTSD, attachment wounds, and related concerns.

You are the reason I’m here

No matter what difficulties you may be encountering, I am committed to meeting you where you are, with a nonjudgmental approach and a focus on creating a safe space for you. It’s my honor to walk alongside you on the path to healing.

Outside of work

I focus on quality time with my two incredible boys. We enjoy playing with our cats, going to parks, swimming in streams and hot springs, collecting rocks/minerals, reading together, eating pho and sushi, and watching movies. My hobbies include hiking, yoga, meditation, learning (there are too many good podcasts!), travel, connecting with friends, gardening, and spending time in nature.
